So this video is about a month late, but in my defense I did not know how to post it before now! This is the Christmas Play from last month. Please excuse my VERY poor camera skils! Bryan would usually do the honors, however he was in the play so that was not an option. My camera was also dying so that is the reason for lack of video. Sorry! Hailey was very excitied and had the biggest audience so for most of the video she is laughing, waving and telling us to "shhh". It was very cute.

The Weekend

This past weekend was pretty relaxing. On Friday night we rented some movies and grilled some kabobs. Then on Saturday we took little miss Hailey to see The Tale of Desperaux. It was a really cute movie, but VERY crowded! We also took her to the library and did a little shopping while Bryan got his hair cut. Here is Hailey before we left for the movies, she was very excitied because the Theater in our neighborhood opened up again and we got to walk to the movies. She wanted to roller skate but we were running a bit late.

On Sunday we went to Sara's (Bryan's sister) to celebrate little Meena's Birthday..and as you can see she turned 2 years old. Hailey has very high expectations of Birthday parties, asking me where the party games and goodie bags were at. I had to tell her that not everyone celebrates birthday parties that way. She just did not understand. I assured her that at her birthday we would have party games and goodie bags. :)

Miss Hailey and the Jewelry Box

So like many little girls, Hailey is completely taken with the Disney Princesses. With Valentine's Day coming up we were looking for some good deals for stuff for her. We found this Jewelry Box for 4 dollars on a Yard Sale Website. Hailey is always playing with her dress up jewelry, but it is always scattered around the room ending up in one of her three toy boxes! So we got this for her, and Bryan was so sweet to give it to her early last night. She was sad that her snowman is melting away and she got a new ring when we were out last night. So when we came inside Bryan pulled out the jewelry box from the hiding place and started to make the music play. Hailey just could not figure where it was coming from..even holding her ring up to her ear to see if her ring was "magical" finally she figured out that it was coming from her daddy and he showed her. He took much to long to show her how to use it, but she loved it.

Snow Day!

Yesterday we got the very first Snow Day! It was the first time it snowed here in for 5 years. I was so bummed because Bryan had to work all day, but he suprised us and got to come home at 745 pm. So even though it was dark outside we went out to make a snowman. Hailey and myself tried to do it during the day but I guess I dont have the propper snowman making skills. Bryan was able to get it going right away. It took us about an hour but we were finally able to create Frosty (Hailey named him). After we made the snowman we went out to get some stuff to make subs but the entire town of Jacksonville had closed down! It was the funniest thing, because all we reallly got was 3..maybe 4 inches of snow. Nothing was open..including fast food places! We were lucky to find a long line open at McDonalds (yuck) but it was our only option..and it was much to late to cook. The snow is still here today but Im pretty sure it will melt all away by tommorrow. It was fun for one day but I don't think I would like it everyday! :)
