Sunny Sunday

This past weekend was a pretty busy one. On Saturday I threw Bryan a big party. It was VERY cold and windy since we had it by the beach..I learned my lesson about North Carolina weather and parties by the beach. It was a good time though and turned out ok.I didn't have the chance to take any pictures though! Yesterday was bright and sunny..it is such a difference..so weird because we live about 5-10 mintues from the beach..and the weather is so much different. I did however take some pictures of Hailey playing outside yesterday afternoon. So poses so pretty in her dress picked out last week...quite the little shopper!

The Aaaaamazing Hailey Krantz!

So today Hailey has decided to be a magician..and a very good one at that. She dressed all up in her Minnie Mouse costume (that is a bit to small for her) and hand-made her very own invitations. I was able to get a quick shot! Very cute.....

Hailey The Job Seeker

So this past month has been a very busy month for Hailey. She has taken on the concern of finding the perfect job for her. In the last few weeks she has started off with being a "fixer" as she calls it, so we bought her some tools (play tools from Handy Manny because when she used real tools she broke our DVD Player and took apart her book shelf..smart little girl!!) then she said that it was not the right job for her. Then she wanted to be a doctor..so we buy her a doctor kit..we all got shots and our heartbeats listened too, however she got tired of that. Next she wanted to be a racecar driver..luckily she told us she already had everything she needed for that..I'm not sure what we could have bought for that one. Last Sunday she wanted to be a boat driver..which she got to do on Papa's boat. This week has been the busiest one yet!! She started out on Monday as a gardner..and again she has lot sof gardening things so I did not have to go out and buy her stuff. Then later that day she wanted to be a "cooker" and she cooked us all of our favorite meals. Tuesday she wanted to be tea party host, she took out her tea party and we had an all day long tea party. Yesterday (Wednesday) she was a babysitter (like mommy) and we took care of her stuffed animals, giving them shots, feeding them lunch and changing their diapers. Today already we have had two jobs. She woke up and told me she HAD to be a cowboy..and that cowboys were clean she we just had to take a bath right then! So we took a bath and she said I needed to braid her hair and get her ready for the dessert. We put on Cowboy pants (khakis) a western shirt (a striped shirt??) a cowboy hat (her gardening hat) a rope (a jump rope) and cowboy boots (her flower boots) the only other thing she needed was a horse..which we luckily had, our hardwood floor was the dessert and she could NOT touch it. After about 5 minutes..she suddenly had a change of heart..a librarian!! So we laid all her books out and she got her cash register and I had to purchase books from her (really a book store). I am exhausted!! But I am very pleased that she has such an AMAZING imagination..and wants to find something to make her happy for a job, considering she has quite a few more years to decide.

A day on the boat

Today we went out on Bryan's parents boat. We had so much fun and Hailey loved every second of it. The wind was blowing pretty hard so we couldn't go out too far but we still went really fast and every time Papa Scotty turned fast Hailey squealed and giggled, she had so much fun. The water was 56 degrees and my crazy husband jumped in prompting Hailey to also want to jump in. 2 seconds into the water she got right out. We bought her, her very own special princess life jacket. Papa Scotty even let her "drive" the boat as you can see in the picture to the right. Very fun and we can't wait to go out again!

Happy Birthday Bryan!

Yesterday Bryan turned 21! Not only did the poor guy have to work but he is on the range so he had to be there by 430 am..but we still had a good day. Hailey and the kids in my daycare made posters and birthday cards for him during arts and crafts. We went out to dinner..this was supposed to be a family dinner..since I am having a huge party for him in 2 weeks. Somehow though it snowballed into a 15 person dinner. It was still fun and everyone bought Bryan drinks..at the end of the night he was "thanking me for the BEST birthday ever..." I didn't even do anything! We went to Mexican and Hailey loved when they smashed whipped cream in his face. To the right: Bryan getting whipped creamed!

Bubble Pop!

Hailey has created a new song..and when I asked her where she learned this new song she told me she learned it "When she was a little kid and she was in college" "I learned it in college mommy" I just giggled..because I don't even know where she learned what college was?! We went to dinner with Danelle last night, I watch her little girl Emily, whom Hailey calls "Baby Emily" we went to Red Robins (Hailey's favorite restaurant) and Red Robin himself was there so she got to meet him..she is terrified of Chuck-E-Cheese but Red Robin gets hugs and high fives..??

Hailey singing her infamous Bubble Pop! Song. (In her jammies..first thing in the morning)
