So this is a few days late but Bryan had from Thursday afternoonuntil this morning off and we've been hanging out. We had a good 4th of July..we went to his mom's house, had some good ol' fashioned hamburgers and beans, homemade browines (by me), the kids played in the pool while we played cards..and ended the night with some sparklers and fireworks. Havelock is so small that we were able to sit in his parents front lawn and watch the town's firworks..with only a few tall trees blocking just a bit. They were still enjoyable! This is the first year that Hailey was actually excitied and had fun watching them. Every other year she's been so afraid that the fireworks would fall down on you and said they were too loud! I was very happy to see that she liked them so much.
